ABOUT US

Our journey begins with 2 humble mums making our first cake for our child's birthday back in 2008, which lead to creating and styling many smaller events. The love we both have developed overtime in creating beautiful events was very satisfying especially when we see the smile on the parent and child's face when everything comes together.

After 9 years of making fabulous cakes and organising small events such as birthday and other parties. I started working with Silks Catering and started doing Wedding Planning and Coordination in 2017. By 2018, I did some collaboration work with a florist and started creating beautiful floral styling. Due to the Covid 19 Pandemic it has made it difficult to continue working with the florist who relocated to Sydney and travelling back and forward to do jobs within Melbourne and Sydney for the both of us were getting more and more hard due to all the lockdown and restrictions. Sadly that collaboration partnership had to come to an end. Over the years I have been lucky enough to developed an extensive experience and have met and worked with many people within the Industry.  

I'm the face behind OneSweetDaybyVil. A busy mum to 3 beautiful children, a wife and main Uber driver for our kids. I've always loved baking since I was a little girl for as long as I can remember. I've always found myself in the kitchen. Having my first baby changed my life and opened up my eyes into the baking world. My fist custom cake and mini desserts was for my daughter's first birthday. Then it was making cakes for family and friends and the one always brings desserts to every dinner party. And that was the perfect opportunity to practice my cake skills. Then I got into styling my kids birthdays and putting up my hand to do my nieces and nephews. I took challenge and overtime gree a genuine instinct in learning more and developed my skills in becoming a self taught baker, dessert tables and events planner. So I have decided to team up with Vi from Vivalicious Cakes and Events, so we can bring the best of both worlds to you on your special day. We look forward to coordinating with your style and personality.

With over 12 years combined experience from all walks of Events and Styling from both side, we have finally made the decision to join force to make it even bigger by creating many more Beautiful Designs and unforgettable memories.

It doesn't matter if its just a cake, a bridal bouquet or a full turnkey service, what matters most to us is the warm tingling feeling we get when we see the big smile on the person's face when they walk in to see their big day come to live.
